Robert A. Jones (Tony), CPPA, EECA, Co-owner
Tony Jones has over 14 years of appraisal business experience and holds a bachelor’s degree from Temple University, Philadelphia, PA in Political Science. Mr. Jones is also a graduate of Continental Appraisal School, Buffalo Center, IA. Prior to the founding of AAA Certified Appraisers, LLC, Mr. Jones worked and partnered with a competitor in the appraisal field. Mr. Jones has been, in the past, responsible for day-to-day operations for multiple businesses in the financial industry.
Mr. Jones’ knowledge of machinery, equipment and business come from both personal experience and education. Mr. Jones has worked in, managed or owned a wide variety of businesses spanning from fast food restaurants to mortgage companies. Tony’s vast knowledge allows him to understand client’s needs. This trait allows him to work comfortably with employees of any company. With over a decade of appraisal experience, Mr. Jones’ ability to appraise equipment has become a valuable asset for his client.
Mr. Jones currently specializes in providing Machinery and Equipment Appraisals for clients nationwide. These clients include business owners, financial institutions, law firms, insurance companies, accounting firms and companies of nearly every type and size. His ability to stay current on trends affecting businesses today allows him the knowledge to formulate opinions of value in today’s marketplace as it pertains to equipment.
Current memberships include National Auctioneers Association, Association of Online Appraisers and Institute of Equipment Valuation.
Douglas Jacobsen, Co-owner, Director of Marketing
Mr. Jacobsen is a graduate of the Advanced Banking School at Bucknell University, Lewisburg, PA. Mr. Jacobsen’s backround includes private banking, small business and commercial lending, along with business development. Mr. Jacobsen has over 25 years’ experience in the financial field.
